Who should seek training through us?

Anyone looking to benefit themselves or those around them with regards to ADHD can seek training through us. Our training is accessible to everyone, to ensure children and adults have the opportunity to learn more about ADHD or want to become more effective in supporting people with ADHD. We strive to help and support professionals to become better informed and to, overall, increase awareness of ADHD.

Who is our training delivered by?

Our training is delivered by professional ADHD Nurses and Coaches, Clinical Psychologists, and Assistant Psychologists. Together we will provide high-quality training in a range of areas of ADHD. Each professional brings a different perspective to the team by incorporating their own strategies to learning and teaching, creating a dynamic and effective teaching team.

Why should you use our service for training?

Our training service stands out as we believe in working as a team to maximise our expertise and deliver services that are bespoke to our client's needs. We’re here to help promote a good understanding and awareness that will have a long-lasting effect on people’s lives. We are committed to providing relevant material that will increase your skills and ability.

How will you benefit?

If you are looking to have a good knowledge and understanding of ADHD, become successful in the management of ADHD behaviour, or want to help positively impact those who have ADHD, you will benefit from our training program. ADHD in children and adults can go unrecognised, and result in a misdiagnosis or not receiving treatment at all- this can have a negative impact on people’s lives by creating barriers and challenges. If more people are trained in recognising the signs, interventions, and management of ADHD, more children, and young adults will have support put in place at an early stage.

NICE guidelines

NICE guidelines recommends...

Trusts should ensure that specialist ADHD Teams for children, young people and adults jointly develop age-appropriate training programs for the diagnosis and management of ADHD for mental health, pediatric, social care, education, forensic and primary care providers and other professionals who have contact with people with ADHD. Child and adult psychiatrists, pediatricians, and other child and adult mental health professionals (including those working in forensic services) should undertake training so that they are able to diagnose ADHD and provide treatment and management in accordance with this guideline.
